Potassium Citrate Pharmaceutical Grade

Potassium Citrate Pharmaceutical Grade
Product Details

Potassium Citrate Pharmaceutical Grade can be used as a pharmaceutical ingredient, it is currently the most commonly used drugs to prevent stones and found that urine pH and citric acid value and the formation of urinary tract stones have a very close relationship. For example, in acidic urine (pH less than 5.5), the solubility of uric acid is very low, easily lead to uric acid stones: the contrary, in alkaline urine (pH greater than 7), the calcium phosphate or magnesium phosphate form. This can be confirmed from 19 to 63% of patients with urinary tract stones whose uric acid is lower than normal and is considered to be one of the causes of urinary stones.

Because potassium citrate can provide a lot of citric acid and enhance the urine pH, so for uric acid stones, low calcium citrate stone disease and renal tubular poisoning caused by calcium stones have a very prominent treatment effect.
